Ready for some real talk about race and diversity? Then you’ve come to the right place. Join us at our next event on April 28, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Who We Are

As much as we’d all like to think otherwise, racial discrimination and prejudice are still pervasive in our community.

And we’re ready to do something about it. Who are we? A small group of passionate women who have created an opportunity for the community to come together in a safe environment to have frank, open discussions about race.

“The stories really made me think about my perspective on issues”

About Our Events

Our community-based, non-religious events are a time for community members over the age of 21 to come together and have open, honest, real discussions around racial issues in our community. Each 2.5 hour event will start with a welcome and overview of what to expect, then a facilitator will lead a discussion with small groups of no more than 10 people per table. Facilitators will ensure everyone has an opportunity to be heard and guide the discussion to ensure it’s productive, respectful, and thought-provoking.

Light refreshments and beverages will be available. A donation of $5 per attendee is welcome but not required.
